  1. For the first time in agree with Francis's assessment of this deal. I agree 120% He is spot on. There is a desire to try to project this deal as a breakthrough. Others want to spin it as a blow to Putin. Russia's war for the past 3 years against has not depended on this deal. The deal is bad for Ukraine. Ukraine is losing men on the battlefield, it has lost cities, the economy is gone, and now it's natural resources arr gone ro it's allies. What happened to the narrative of "for as long as it takes' this Trump administration can and will never be seen doing the same thing that Biden did. Forget it. The deal is merely an insurance to the Americans that when the guns fall silent they can claim something. Meaning this war was never about values and democracies but extortion.

  3. If narratives were the benchmark of winning a war the collective west would be in Moscow and am sure Dom and Francis would be in their apartments in Crimea just next to the water. But war is not about rhetoric it's about brutality and it's success is measured in kms gained or territory liberated. Ukraine and its NATO allies have not be able to liberate even kilometer within Ukraine since 2022. That is an army trained by NATO, equipped by NATO, financed by NATO, and directed by NATO to fight the poor Russians. But the facts on the ground don't lie. Russia occupies 20% of NATO land .
