  1. I'm personally not a fan of the meta-awareness proposal for 001. Finding out you're not in base reality isn't a strong reason for despair whether you're in a simulation or in a black hole inside a parent universe or in the mind of (what would be for you) a god. Being at the mercy of a malevolent being who controls your reality is scary but doesn't necessarily need the 4th wall awareness. If I had been tasked with writing this I wouldn't have name dropped the wiki or the writers or anything, it feels overly indulgent even for SCP.
