  1.  @ArgoIo  I'm not gonna vote for anything that'll forcibly shut off my area's a/c. how about we try some low-tech solutions like better insulation, maybe newer windows on homes that seal better before we put yet another centralized probe in people's homes. heat waves probably also imply the area could benefit from solar adoption to some degree. maybe power companies should be offering an opt-in solar panel installation instead.
