you might even say they're our greatest ally.

@ImperialSenpai the difference between Ben and Carl is Carl doesn't come from the same people who wrote the Talmud. Carl might think a religion is (or all of them are) schtyupit but Ben and his ilk are vengeful.

it's not a sports match, we don't have to pick sides. everything that threatens the west is open to discussion and criticism.

@polderrican you don't have to like it but don't stick your head in the sand and pretend it isn't popular. it is so popular in the west that anime directors in Japan are telling each other to stop pandering to westerners. it is so damned popular that China has an entire industry of anime copycat video games. I'm not bragging, I would vastly prefer if it were as niche as you say it is. it's not though.

trying to replace current year Hollywood with a sliver of their resources is deranged. make something well written and acted that can actually be pulled off with an indie budget, let the scoffers scoff and grow from there.

@fl-ri- he's a boomer who thinks something as basic as a sick day is woke. send the degens who whack off all day to him to be shamed but nobody else needs to hear much of anything from him, he's like a cardboard cutout of a stern father.

@ you've got queer definitions if you think something popular can only be consumed by misfits. there are more normies than misfits, right? if only misfits enjoy something it probably isn't popular. also, I just took two minutes to correct you on entertainment I didn't ask what your policy was on meeting your spouse and kids, take a breath.

@Cpt.Phenom well yeah, but Tiny Hat Advocacy isn't healthy for the right and I'm not going to fund that shit.

some people and organizations on the right think all they have to do is ape establishment leftist behaviors and it never works out the way they want it to.
1
the culture of critique (more accurately just scorn) on the right is overly strong but it's to be expected of a movement as infiltrated as the new right is. the shit tests will continue

@RictaScale.Official he cried about the excesses of WW2 like it was his job before he worked at DW so I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

there's got to be some kind of middle ground on the right between "ew yucky anime" boomers and discord gooners when it comes to popular art. sometimes I feel like the last man on earth who can sit through decent animation and appreciate it without being a twit about it, but I hope that's just because I don't do much discussion of stuff like that anymore.

@Hamphield "I don't think this guy cares about my country as much as he pretends to" "errrm insecure much?" interesting rebuttal for sure

exactly the same thing that happened to the H3H3 podcast, how curious

@khaoticmage2027 it's a similar problem to Christian entertainment. Most people who want to make entertainment that respects religion think that means it needs to be completely neutered and de-fanged and it doesn't resonate. Nu-right entertainment has some of the same problems but without the heart behind it. If the whole point of your production is as a take-that to dominant culture, its essence is still defined by and reinforces dominant libprog culture.

@sword7872 are you asking the chosen ones to PAY for things? literally Holocaust 2.0
