  11. he's a dark-skinned African person with American citizenship, speaks English, the countries he's making an ass of himself in are going to see him as black. It's the same as how most Americans don't know native Japanese and Koreans have different ethnicities and just see them all as the same. I'm not saying you have to claim him but I'm saying they're not going to have the same understanding as you without going out of their way to understand a culture they don't have any familiarity with other than dubbed hollywood movies.

  14. I guess this is me having a "boomer moment" but as an American it blows me away. I figure out the rules when I visit a friend's house in the same city, I couldn't imagine treating another country as my trash can.
