@Reichstaubenminister the trouble is you can sign any text string with PGP or whatever, in fact there's a site called keybase devoted to storing public keys. All it would take is a post somewhere online like pastebin saying "eat the rich" or something signed with a valid key to undermine that system. it's very difficult to control how people talk to each other.

you should probably switch to firefox or something based on it, they're the last browsers with full adblock functionality at the time of this comment.

@jakezepeda1267 it's really not what Terry had in mind for his OS. If Linux becomes unsalvageable I hope people switch to BSD, Haiku, Plan 9, or Redox for daily use purposes.

@Hebrew42Day investors = legal obligation to make every decision based on return on investment. linux isn't set up for that, and it's not to linux's detriment. I'm pro-capitalism but linux and a lot of FOSS/foss-adjacent projects end up better when they don't have monetary concerns like this.

don't be afraid to use a "woke" distro, just don't donate to them or give telemetry data lol. at the end of the day you're a net loss for their server costs.
