@runed0s86 the electricity vs gas debate really only means anything if your electrical grid doesn't run on combustibles. for many people, an electric car is a coal car with extra steps. and apparently, they don't work in the rain 🤷

my understanding was you don't usually become rich by accepting bad deals even though simple people see it as the status symbol option.

@Fighter4Street debatable, the energy density of fossil fuels is difficult to beat with even ethanol providing less power per gallon, and the ewaste generated by car batteries will be orders of magnitude worse than smartphones when more people use EVs. it's just kicking the can down the road
