I know a couple of people from both sexes for whom attractiveness acted as a debuff. The guy I know gets catcalled, women in his area assume he's sexually available for anyone who asks and have no idea he just wants someone to settle down and be emotionally intimate with and start a family. The woman I know got into a relationship with a guy because she felt compassionate towards him but he turned out to be an unbelievable coomer and was just using her. bottom line, beware of people who are just using you to get their fix. that could be sex, money, narcissistic supply, a captive audience, whatever.
