  2. it probably doesn't help that some people made callout videos for him covering ayurveda and some other concepts from the eastern spiritual tradition he learned that aren't as well studied. could be a CYA thing to an extent

I could speculate but without knowing what the two of you are like, what caused you both to want the breakup to happen in the first place, what your ex has done since you stopped talking (does she miss you because she's looking for a rebound?) it's hard to give a useful answer. Based on my own experience though, if you both had a good reason to cut contact and it wasn't just a heat of the moment thing, you're probably better off sticking to your guns and staying apart.
