@IsomerSoma there's a name for this: online disinhibition. people can react to each other with whatever emotion they feel like online, same as irl, but in the absence of immediate, real consequences people feel safer being rude to each other.

@sirsuntar8717 this was always the common sense advice being put forward, even going back to the first wave of the internet being popularized and the term "netiquette" was in vogue. Don't post your personal info on a public forum anyone around the world can read. It was always dangerous, even before AI.
