  1. I quite enjoyed Skyrim's politics and religious conflicts. Seeing who was ballsy enough to say "by the nine!" instead of the eight in open defiance of the Thalmor was a fun distraction whenever I stopped to visit a hold. What would have made it instantly not fun would have been if one or more of the gods had been avatars for corporate-sponsored pseudo morals instead of abstract human universal values and concepts like time itself.

  3. such media ought to be called programming. if its purpose is to use a set of inputs to create one specifc, consistently reproducible output in a person's mind, that's a program. if it's art that creates a space in a person's mind that can channel varied experiences, it's a medium (plural media).
