  3. It is the definition of the dot product. m·n = m*n*cosØ, but because they are unit length (1), it is just cosØ. Try searching for the definition on youtube, I'm sure there are better explanations that I could give.

  4. The people in the class are so annoying. Just let the guy teach the class, we don't need you asking questions that are thinly veiled way to show that you already know some of this. I guess that is what happens when you get a bunch of people intelligent enough to be interested in this stuff all into the same room, it turns into a "whose nerd-dick is biggest" contest.
