The reason james from tam rocket can do tht , is technically him being a villain. there can just be giving villains more moral room there. or its joke characters to a degree. Its rarde a transcoded or feminine character isnt a bit shady or played as joke. To be clear, its still good, its just not really true thats usually the case. Hell even attack on titan could not stop making armin used as damsel in a played scenario.

Anime have a lot good heroines too. like cross ange starts with her awful to, later become amazing. and the first half uses way too much fanservice to, i dont think really great, while the secon has really most showing the villain as creep, and the story is amazing . so worth it. And its pretty feminist actually.The villain really uses al kind of manipulations and thats explored and he is the clear bad and gets pushed back. Great eries, rough start. and shimoneta is good from the start.
