  2. The west also had ww 1 and 2 which, is why nationalism can be dangerous. ok just leave it in sports. Nothing wrong with liking your country, but its not really an archievement to be born in a specific country. Its luck. While i know nationalism can value, like in wartimes, you dont want that the reason why people elected, but nbecause they are actually passable in their job as representative. Also nationalism can fanatic make people ignore, that your country is just one of many, ethnicity isnt really important, like cooperation at least tried first. And makes it way harder to fall foor nationalist fearmongering, if you have enough criticism of nationalism. and why nationalistic fearmongering, yeah ww 1 and 2 arent forgotten.
