  2. Exactly. Sydney wages are much higher than everywhere else for most industries. Sydney train drivers have one of the lowest wages in the country.

  4. That's a different issue. Lack of track maintenance. It has nothing to do with the new trains or the strike. It does have everything to do with lack of investment in public transport by the liberals, privatization of maintenance and much lower pay for maintenance people than train drivers.

  5. You might find it's only in a very small circle of your friends. The rest of us recognized how ignoring international obligations (other than to Hawaiian resorts) comes with critical strategic and trade consequences.
