@ethanlambert1087 but they also played less matches to get to said world cup too... and if they were injured or didn't make the team they still got guaranteed pay and benefits. Meanwhile any player not named due to injury or form on the men's team gets nothing...

Because they chose their own pay system and then could have done better with the other system (even though they still did better as far as income than the men). Screaming out discrimination for their own choice, based on their own members wishes. Equality is only apparently equal when women end up not just being the best paid, but can cherry pick the best bits out of both contracts. That's what feminism is today, and it is totally toxic.

Seems pretty clear that the women are paid more, but then want the bonus scheme retroactively once they won the world cup. They negotiated a better deal that actually pays them more than the men get, with far greater security and benefits. Yet that's not good enough, because sexism exists. In this case that sexism is from women against men, even when paid extra.
