  1.  @adrianwilson7536  there are gaps between the panels so there is still filtered light, especially when panels are tilted at an angle to get best access to the sun.

For a nation that claims to believe in small government and free market economics, the US has one of, if not the most heavily interventionist governments that completely distorts free market economics. It's those distortions of the market that PREVENT good technology from competing, and also see frankenfood production become the focus of farming effort. High Fructose Corn Syrup or ultra low efficiency corn ethanol production anyone?
