  1. Give me a hot jam ball donut over a cold glazed donut any day. Sadly what we mostly can get from Krispy Kreme is cold, packaged, and redistributed. We used to get them a lot as work morning tea rewards at one stage. Maybe if I had one hot and fresh from the store it'd be different, but to be honest the only spot I have seen an actual KK store is Sydney Airport, and the lineup was stupid long. I think the bigger factor though is simply Australians mostly have savoury tastes, and if we want something sweet, we want that Cane Sugar taste, which is way better than the High Fructose Corn Syrup flavour that most American recipes are based on.
