Shane Warne TERRIFIED the English batsmen for most of his career, but from his first ball in 1993 "The ball of the century" right until 2007 when he retired the English were just unable to play him. Australia won 8 ashes series in a row, with Warne being involved in 6 of them. When we finally lost a series in 2005 he ended up with 40 wickets. That's 8 wickets per match, or 4 per innings. 40 wickets out of 93 that the English lost for the series, by one bowler (not pitcher).
