  2. Upside down waterfalls due to winds channeling through canyons and then lifting at the cliff face happen elsewhere. We also have horizontal waterfalls which are actually tidal. And tidal surf breaks, too. For those brave enough to risk surfing with Sharks and Crocodiles.

  5.  @BabzV  For me, the flight was via London (Heathrow), Singapore (Changi) and Sydney (Mascot). It's possible to get a more direct route, I'm sure. 27 hours is a long time in an airline seat. If you can do an overnight stop on the way, I'd recommend it.

  7. That Saltie is historically small, btw. They've gotten to 6.2 metres (20 feet) in recent times and historically got bigger before massive hunting put their population under pressure. Most of the ones you see now are under 50 years old, and they have no real age or size limits. The 6 metre ones are only estimated to be around 100 years old. A 150 or 200 year old croc? Think 7 metres (23 feet) and 3,000 pounds plus.

  8. 6:00 That made the news in Australia. Definitely a real story. As are the firehawks. There's 3 species that use fire, not just one. The photograph is a brown falcon, one of the three species proven to use fire hunting techniques. Now talk about the hawks that are known to literally throw venomous snakes at people,
