  1. 79 Series are considered the only tough landcruisers left. 4.5 litre diesel v8 is one of the standard motors. They're agricultural as hell but tough, and are very much a status symbol for miners, tradies, and yobbos. Old mate in the 200 series is probably running Highway tyres at 40 psi with all that weight too.
