@IWrocker lots of butter on your toast and then a thin spread of vegemite. If you can't see the buttered toast through a smear of vegemite you have too much vegemite - scrape it off. It is an incredibly strong flavour and very VERY salty. Imagine a pizza completely covered with Anchovies versus a half a dozen of them placed around the pizza.

Crows have been known to take people's kittens, puppies and small dog breeds. Wedge tailed eagles do this, even taking foxes and lambs. Compare a Wedge Tailed Eagle with a Bald Eagle if you want a laugh. Pythons eat people's pets here all the time, let alone all the ones killed by snakes, spiders, paralysis ticks etc

At my current house I have twice stomped on eastern brown snakes in my thongs (yes, look up what thongs mean in Australia before you go further) rather than letting them bite and kill my dogs. I get antivenom free treatment in the hospital, and would probably (97-98%) survive long enough to get to the hospital in an ambulance and survive if I got bitten Probably would have cost $5k vet treatment for the dogs and they would likely die anyway. Risk versus reward, I guess. Mowing the lawn is an extreme sport in Australia, yeah, twice a week in summer and it could get you killed. No jokes. Population is around 28 million now. Worth noting is people really have no comprehension of how big Australia TRULY is. Mercator is a joke as far as projections of size when you are near the equator , and the two places that cop it the worst are Australia and Africa. Australia is bigger than the contiguous 48 states, and way over THREE TIMES the size of Greenland, with just the state of Western Australia being bigger than Greenland (as well as being almost 4 times the size of Texas). Not that you'd know it from the way they look on a map, or with the two looking at each other with love hearts in this video. Because without Alaska, Australia is noticeably bigger.
