Anything over 6'6" means you need to watch your head on doorways and light fittings (Standard door frame height in Australia is 6'8").
If you stay below that kind of height, being taller is probably better, but you WILL need to get a king size bed to keep your toes warm.
Plenty of studies showing how taller people are more successful socially, get better job prospects, pay and promotions, get treated with more respect in basically all walks of life.
I'd happily be a foot taller than my current height and deal with the handful of negatives, even if it meant I'd have to sell my cars because there's no way I'd fit :(
My mum's 4'11" so that kind of short has plenty of disadvantages. Reaching for cupboards is one thing, but every desk, kitchen benchtop, sink, seat or table is NOT designed to suit you, and using them causes your body physical harm over time. Stairs are not spaced to suit your footsteps. You have to buy kids clothes.
