  1. One question needs to be answered. Is the Microcentre US$899 price due to Trump's chip tariffs and the US$749 is a global price without the tariffs? Is this the reason for the high 9070XT and 9070 leaked pricing too? If so, that's not an Nvidia or AMD fault, that's a domestic issue, just like the 18% VAT that many European countries face that makes GPU's expensive in their markets

  2.  @Jayztwocents  so, with the 10% tariff announced after initial pricing, the price should now be $823.90 (+ Sales tax, of course). While that's still bad, that means there's another $75.10 gone walkies into someone's pocket.

  4. Yep. A month ago I almost bought a 4080S or 4070 Ti S but was holding out based on all those "aggressive pricing" rumours on the 9070XT. Now we know they meant "priced aggressively AGAINST consumers"
