6:50 let's talk about the women's role in Chivalry.
The woman, to deserve Chivalry for the Knight, was supposed to be virtuous, supportive, courteous, and chaste until marriage.
She was supposed to serve both God and her lord in all things.
They were expected to know how to handle themselves in social situations in a respectful manner, and serve and obey her husband.
They were expected to learn how to cook, clean and play musical instruments to entertain their lord. They were supposed to knit and darn clothing for him.
Tend gardens to create beauty and peace for him.
They were expected to bring no dishonour upon their family.
Her lord and master, the knight would willingly defend her honour, but ONLY so long as she had honour to defend.
They were expected to respect and honour their knight's bravery and sacrifice. They were to be subservient to him, tend his wounds, be the balm to soothe his body and mind.
Now, think about how many breaches of these requirements modern women can achieve?
Now, who broke the bonds of Chivalry?
