@shozlochshadr1536 It's an American Channel, run by an American who has a historical clothing company.
It mostly is covering mostly American frontier history and lifestyle. The fact that that is in many ways similar to many other places in the world doesn't change what it is, why it exists, who the majority of it's audience is, or how they're going to interpret things.
Americans certainly can and do come off with that attitude sometimes. This channel I feel puts in an active effort not to do that, but they're certainly still going to be judging recipes, clothing and lifestyle by what they've been brought up on as "normal". We can't help those unconscious biases.
As an Australian, I love meat pies. They're available here everywhere, including of course in my freezer right now, every local shops has a bakery/patisserie, and the local servo (gas station) has a hot box full of them, as does every 7-eleven in the whole country. If your background is Australian, New Zealander, Irish or from the United Kingdom your experience there is probably the same.
But to an American audience, or even a mostly global audience outside the anglosphere, meat pies are strange food indeed.
