For me it comes down to this: we have observed craft performing feats of aerobatics that defy our understanding of physics, propulsion, and aviation. No one that we know of on earth knows how to replicate these functions. So who is it, then? I'm experienced enough to know that the answer is "we don't know" and that this does not immediately equal aliens. If it isn't ET, then I hope it is some branch of a more benevolent government.
