@kennethnormanthompson2740 This is just English acute hospitals. 20,000 a year avoidable deaths. Manslaughter in other words. Given that rate how do you calculate the odds it was deliberate? Or look at the other hospitals where its gone on? Then look at the maternity wards where its gone on?
1
@kennethnormanthompson2740 So what's the solution and indirectly the cause? You have two ways of running a health system. Bismarck and Beveridge Obamacare, NHS, Beveridge systems. A disaster. Bismarck, see Switzerland and Holland. 1 and 2 in the world. Why do they work, and the NHS fail? 1. NHS pensions are treat now pay later. You get screwed by austerity from the debts, and that's not hit the NHS yet. 2. Supply insurance and regulation. Combine any of those and you get a disaster. We need a Bismarck system

@kennethnormanthompson2740 My explanation post has been removed. Basically its a Beveridge health care system problem. We need a Bismarck system
1
@kennethnormanthompson2740 Yep. The Bismarck Beveridge bit is the key part. In a Bismarck system supply, regulation and insurance are separate. It's treat first pay later. Removed the post code lottery and waiting list manipulations that are rife in the NHS. Next, Shipman/Barton etc, are all because the regulators were looking the other way. Cannot investigate, because the insurance element says no, we can't afford the damages In a Bismarck system all three legs are separated.

@mariea82 20,000 a year killed by "avoidable mistakes" Preventable deaths due to problems in care in English acute hospitals: a retrospective case record review study - BMJ ======== Why would it be murder when there's manslaughter on that scale?

There's a reason Volvos are built like Volvos. Basically a moose is a ton of meat on 4 match sticks. Hit one of those, the legs go but the body hits your windscreen at 100 kph. That does a lot of damage. So the driver was stupid. He needs more practice on taking out e-motorbikes before moving on to large animals

What's the betting he's a migrant?

@metalsonic123 They won't do that with the vote today. Protect Kahn by keeping it secret.

So why should the UK be importing poverty?
1
@juliegregory3900 Austerity is a consequence! Start with defining austerity. What's your defintion.

@Geffo555 For the debt information, its' ONS and the WGA.

@Geffo555 On the biggy. The socialist pension debts. Care to hazard a guess as to how big they are? If you're a public sector worker, you won't get your pension. It's not in the accounts which means you aren't owed it, according to the Tories and Labour
1
@juliegregory3900 taxing workers the most in 70 years That's personal austerity. Low take home pay. So high tax is bad. Stripping money out of public services. There's a website UK Public Spending - Numbers Charts Analysis History Wher's the cuts to public spending? There is none.
