  7. GDPR is a SAR [Subject Access Request]. FOI is another law entirely. SARs from the police you have to be there. Clearly we weren't. Even then, I've lost count of the number of complaints I have had upheld on SARs from the police. We are talking double digits. Not that they give me the decision letter. Reminds me to escalate. For your information, I believe I hold the record for the most upheld complaints against the met in one year. FOI is another issue. The police have a special status. They will refuse because its being used for fighting crime. They will also say no because there's going to be a pending trial if he's caught.  @petemccalam5727
