The question is why Labour are saying nothing. It's because they are salivating at the prospect of using those powers.

So where are the trillions the workers have paid the socialist welfare state for their old age? What's fair? The top 10% pay the same amount of tax as the other 90%, and still the government is crap

The 10% pay 50% of all tax. The same amount as the other 90% Define fair.

@AnBreadanFeasa Look at the top 10 in the ST rich list. How many are British? How many live in the UK? For the others, why would they hand over their wealth so you get things for free? That's your first challenge. Second and this is the biggy. What's the actual problem you are trying to solve? You don't say and you certainly don't put numbers to it. So start with the basics. 2.5 trillion borrowed. 16 trillion in pension debts. Other debts not included. 18.5 trillion. That's what you need and its increase at 10% a year. This is based off ONS numbers. So you need 1.6 trillion just to stand still. To prevent the debt from increase, each and every year. None going on services. Now look at that rich list. Take all the money, the wealth from the top 10. How long does that last? Your problem is you don't know how big the mess is. Along comes Richard and says, if only we could get our hands on the leprechauns we could take their pot of gold and everyone could live happily every after. That leprechaun solution is of course just a fairy story, like Richard's story that taxing someone else solves the mess. Meanwhile the Richards of this world are taking your wealth because they demand their pensions are paid

@reasontruthandlogic Strange idea of yours. The idea of tax is pain. What a nasty form of government.

What fake solutions? Compared to people here, I'm extreme right. So lets put up some solutions 1. Criminals bared and deported. Is that extreme? 2. A list of safe countries. No asylum from those countries. If a country becomes safe, a grace period to sort your affairs out and you go home. 3. For economic migrants, net contributors only. Which bit of that is far right?

@davidmcculloch8490 I'm happy with genuine refugees. But as you know that's gone out of the window. So lets make it very simple. A list of safe countries. Turns out to be all bar 4. Ukraine, Palestine, Yemen, Israel. So if you want to claim from another country, it fails and you are on the next flight home. That deals with it immediately. No asylum claimant from other countries will risk the UK. Then when a dangerous country moves to safe, then you get a grace period. The UK has done its job. You go home or you become an economic migrant. Economic migrants, they get a minimum tax code per adult set at £39,000 [Average wage] That's a good system. Everyone knows then that migrants here are paying their way and not consuming other people's money. Easy to enforce - its the tax system. Now given the Tories and Labour love taxes and retrospective taxes too boot, you could retrospectively tax migrants. But that in my book is going too far. We have to write off the losses.

He's a fantasist. Playing the economic game call what if the welfare state hadn't looted the wealth and spent it, leaving a debt.

@abody499 You don't get the reality. Needs or wants are one thing. The reality is another. People need a retirement income. They won't get it because of the reality. There is a £16 trillion pound pension debt because the policy was spend/redistribute the contributions. ie. Do not create any capital to pay. Your fair share of that debt is £600,000 and this year's increase £60,000. The long term rate of increase is 10% per annum So that's the reality. Your needs, your wants are irrelevant until you factor that in. That's why the Murphys of this world are barking mad. Their start from the premise that the debt doesn't exist and make claims accordingly. It's fantasy economics. It's not rooted in reality.
1
@abody499 The second problem, and its the biggy. The public get no say in policy [bar brexit] but have to suffer the consequences. That means they are no responsible for the mess.

Yep. No noises about what Labour will do to reverse it.

Germany is a good example, where because lots of people are voting for the AfD, the establishment is looking at banning the completely. That they think that 25% of the population are extremists that have to be banned shows that the growth of fascism, is from the left.

Really? Have you seen what these almost entirely Pakistani men have done to people? Where TR is wrong is ignoring the other cover up. The one where they did the same to Pakistani children and women and that has been covered up for culture. Devalues them on the marriage market.
