From a prison cell in Bangladesh?

I've just looked the rules for a recall petition for Tullip Saddiq. We can't have one. She's not be jailed. She's not been suspended. So we are stuck with her. Even if she's on remand in a Bangladesh prison, she's still going to be creaming the cash.

Any custodial prison sentence, even if suspended. (A sentence longer than one year would lead to automatic removal under the Representation of the People Act 1981.) A conviction for providing false or misleading expenses claims. Suspension from the House of at least 10 sitting days or 14 calendar days, following a report by "any committee of the House of Commons concerned with the standards of conduct of individual members of that House" (typically the Commons Select Committee on Standards).[14] The Independent Expert Panel (IEP) established in 2020 took on some of the previous role of the Select Committee on Standards, but as it is not a committee of the House, its recommendations originally could not trigger recall. This was changed by an October 2021 amendment to Commons standing orders requiring the Select Committee on Standards to recommend suspension if asked to do so by the IEP. None of those tests are met.

If an MP has been convicted of a criminal offence which would make them eligible for recall, they are not subject to recall until all of their appeals have been exhausted. In such a case, the courts are obliged to inform the Speaker of any progress made during the appeal. ======== There's the drag it out clause. The legal system in Bangladesh is often criticized for its inefficiency and corruption. Here are some key points to consider. The legal system is known for its slow and delayed procedures, with a significant backlog of cases. This inefficiency makes the legal system ineffective in providing timely justice. Corruption is a significant issue within the legal system, particularly in the police and judicial branches. The police are often accused of maintaining a ‘chain of corruption’ for personal gain, and the prosecution system is inadequate. The independence of the judiciary is compromised, as judicial appointments are directed by the government. Additionally, the police and other pillars of the justice system are closely aligned with the ruling political party, leading to biases in favor of state-owned enterprises in business disputes. So that won't work.
