  2.  @carolwilson4702  It's bizarre. What ever happened to "do the right thing"? It's like any con. Go from A to Z, and people will say, it's a con. Go from A to B, B to C, ... Y to Z, and people will believe it. That's what's gone on in this case. The church and the police have conned themselves. They have got so far, worked out they have been conned, then they can't admit to it, because it would mean they have been stupid. Epic stupidity. So they have paid him off.
