Civil case. £200 damages is a joke. So go for a civil case. The real punishment is legal fees.

A recall petition can only be started if an MP meets one of three conditions: Conviction of a criminal offence – The MP is convicted of a crime and sentenced to more than 12 months in prison. Suspended from the House of Commons – The MP is suspended for at least 10 sitting days (or 14 calendar days if Parliament is not sitting) following a recommendation by the Standards Committee. False expense claims – The MP is convicted of providing false or misleading information about their parliamentary expenses. So no chance of a recall petition.

@kfckillie1 Welll the last of the three shows a way forward. Complaints Leadership – They should lead by example. Treatment of Others – MPs must behave with respect and avoid bullying, harassment, or discrimination. A 2 week suspension is the way forward.

So here's the question. How long before an MP gets done for murder?

@tony8564 Doesn't work that way. Has to commit an offence as an MP. So perhaps no voting if you have a criminal record.
