  3. Theres a far more serious issue. Schools have moved to online homework. For example for maths. Teachers then get a report. Questions along the top. Kids down the side. How well they did. If you get vertical lines then as a teacher you need to revisit that area. Horizontal lines, you need to help those kids. Very good system. However, my brother says that the time spent has gone from 1 hour a week down to 15 minutes. The question is why? Well there are apps. You take an image, the app gives you the answer. Kids are just using them. They are being failed. So they have to change it. Now for essays, you get the subject, you can do as much research as you want. Google, chat gpt, no issues. But the essay gets written in class. It's just a variant on the move away from exams, that enabled parents to up the grades of their kids.
