  1. A quango that can be abolished. OK, it needs changes to the law etc. But Nigel, the short cut, is set their funding at £1 a year. Remember, no government can be bound by the spending promises of a previous government. So cut the Gordian knot. Make a list of quangos, and on day one, set their funding to £1. After all cutting wasteful spending will be in Reform's manifesto. Just needs a minister to sign the funding letter. No need for a vote even. Abolishing them, takes longer.
