@evolassunglasses4673 He demanded taxes for others. But when he came to paying his fair share, he avoid it. So he's a hypocrite of the highest order. Like Rayner.

Another example of Benn 1. What power do you have? 2. Where did you get it from? 3. In whose interests do you exercise it? 4. To whom are you accountable? 5. How can we get rid of you? What's missing? Do we have a right of consent? Simple answer no. Even Benn couldn't stand the idea of the peasants saying no.

@Lynnefromlyn Really? I posted about the only interesting thing that rich tax avoiding Tony Benn ever said. The 5 questions. All factual. You can check. Which bit isn't? I also pointed out that that Benn conveniently left of a right of consent. I take it you don't like people having a right of consent.

@Lynnefromlyn On Mone. Pure spiv like profiteering. Making money out of a government desperate to fix the NHS's failures. The NHS won when it got the Lansley reforms. A clear separation between funding [the government] and the NHS [supplying and controlling health care]. The government handed over the cash. Increases many times that of the money promised on that bus. The NHS's job, was to buy the things needed for health care etc, and deliver it. Except they didn't buy PPE. So come the pandemic, and the NHS has completely screwed up. Now Mone and others can extract the cash. All because the NHS failed.
