@nsbd90now Well, you can have a choice. If you want to censor etc, then you are liable for things like libel. If you don't want to be liable for libel, then you can't censor. You can't pick and choose which bit suits you.

@nsbd90now I do appreciate the difference. The reason why its relevant is that its one of the arguments put forward for censorship. There are others, such as going against the narative. Publishing things that the state would rather have kept quite. Manipulating the voter is another reason. Hence my view is that YT should be given a choice. Go private where YT can control, but then its a publisher and its liable to libel. Another factor is there needs to be a proper appeal system in place. YT doesn't want that because it can't cope with it. The alternative is you become a public forum, where you can't control. YT can then push the problem if there is one, onto the legal system.
