  1. It's all about the debt. Now here's a question. What if the US says, we aren't going to provide cheap postage for low value items posted from China? You have to pay full price and even some tariffs. Those items have one thing in common. They aren't necessary, and they have a very high labour content. What happens then is people stop buying, or production moves to other locations. Now that, because of the high labour content, causes lots of unemployment. That causes unrest as you can see. The very last thing the CCP needs is unrest. Sure it can supress it, but once people have had a bite of that forbidden fruits of capitalism, can they be supressed to that extent?
