Just change the tax code of all economic migrants to minimum of 38,000 a year - break even - almost. That can be done in a weekend. Copy the information from the NI register to HMRC about nationality. Send the letters on Monday to employers. Taxed at source, huge amounts of tax for the government. Second step, send the same information to the DWP. No welfare for any economic migrant. No housing benefit, income support. Just contributory elements like JSA

THey are playing a game. The rate is irrelevant. It's prices that are the issue.

So where are the trillions the workers have paid the socialist welfare state?
1
The main cause is the welfare state. People have paid it trillions for their old age. Their wealth handed over. They are owed a pension. Tories and Labour have pissed it all away. So there's zero assets, massive debts. Debt is just negative wealth. Now they have run up 2.4 trillion in borrowing, just to pay the pensions. Direct cause. Redistribution instead of investment. Which bit is wrong? @tonywilson9950

And Labour are up to their necks too. Where are the trillions the workers have paid the socialist welfare state? Ah yes, left wingers NEVER want to discuss that looting.

The funded the NHS at record levels. The NHS demanded and got autonomy. Why did the NHS fail? @da90sReAlvloc

Exactly. How can it be dangerous? @ravd8082

@brotherlestat305 They wouldn't. What would happen is that a lot of low paid migrants discover the UK isn't attractive. Some on the borderline, just below the threshold will accept it. The issue is the black market in workers. Illegal working. That needs to be clamped down on. For example, deliveroo. They need to be made liable for money laundering and for their subcontractors. I'd also put them on the list for traffic offences. That's a major untapped source of millions of pounds. Far more lucrative than an ULEZ.

Breaking news. In a last throw of the dice, the Democrats have had Donald Trump arrested for beating two women. Hillary and Kamala.

So lets see. Average state spend of 14K. Hospitality min wage at £1K a year in tax. That's a loss of £13K Are the companies paying that difference in tax? Nope Wages for Brits supressed, so they take home less Tax receipts down Welfare costs up Housing Crisis. Crime crisis. But Sky Presenters who get cheap restaurant food, cheap servants, cheap cleaners, cheap UBER, Cheap deliveroo, its a problem. If the peasants don't pay that money they will have to or go without.

The question is then what needs to change? The rate of inflation is the rate of increase in the price index. The target for the BoE needs to change. Instead of the rate, where every year they get another go, the target needs to be the price index. If the price index is currently 100, then the target is that the price index is 100. ie. Zero inflation over the long term. The BoE achieves this by not printing money, and increasing and decreasing the interest rates. @jungletiger1900
1
Yes. The price index. I've just posted what needs to change. Namely if the price index is currently 100, the BoE's target is to keep the index at 100. Two ways. Money supply, stop printing and by interest rates - increase/decrease if the index is above/below 100 @AFFootballHighlights
