Do they pay more tax than they cost? There's a deficit and Mr Average on 38.500 a year doesn't generate enough tax to be a net contributor. So a min wage worker doesn't. A non working dependent doesn't But who will pick crops? The same argument was used in the US pre civil war. Who will pick our cotton? It's repeated even now Drives down wages for the poor. Increases the costs even more. Will they pay our pensions? They can't even pay for their own services now, so they can't pay for someone else's pension, and they will want pensions of their own. Housing crisis? Caused by migration Crime? Disproportionately criminals and those that commit crimes aren't deported. So lets have a simple 3 rule solution 1. No discrimination [like pro 97% white EU nationals] 2. No criminals - barred and deported 3. Net contributors only - a minimum tax code solves that fast.
