  2. The last point reminds me of Jonah. See, Jonah obviously had to preach repentance to a people that were actively cruel - in that time - to his people. The Assyrians were oppressing Israel (and every other nation they could). God still demanded that Jonah give the Assyrians a chance, at least for that generation of Assyrians, to repent. Which they obviously did. So, as Christians, our job is to be "little Christs". We emulate Jesus. Jesus stated that He does nothing except for the Father telling Him to do it. Ergo, clearly, there are times where it is demanded us Christians to forgive those actively harming us. Demanding reparations is directly contrary to the idea of forgiveness. Yet, many who agree with or demand reparations probably call themselves "Christian".
