But for those who ARE allowed, daily visitors to Mount Athos are restricted to 100 lay Orthodox and 10 non-Orthodox pilgrims, and all are required to obtain a special entrance permit from the Mount Athos Pilgrims' Bureau, valid for only three days.

It’s an active stratovolcano along our Chinese border and it caused one of the most powerful eruptions in recorded history back in 946 (with a VEI of 7; higher than Krakatoa’s 1883 eruption which had a 6), so much that the ash made it to Japan’s Hokkaido.

The right benefits from lower voter participation and from having a system that favors extremist positions - because, if you don't have any good solutions to pressing problems (which the right doesn't), you can just divert attention by injecting some meaningless culture war issue into the discourse - see CRT, gay groomers, war on Christmas and so on Here in the DPRK, if you're over 17 years old, you are required to vote. And to make things easy, there's only one person on the ballot. The point of requiring it for so many people is to keep track of how many people are in the country and out. The best form of democracy is clearly a Democratic People's Republic
