  1. Massive infrastructure projects like these are always more complex once actual construction starts. This isn’t just a problem in Hong Kong but worldwide, just look at the Crossrail/Elizabeth Line in London for example (also operated by MTR)! Unfortunately, however, people and the media in general always want to focus on negatives as it's "bad news" that sells! That man's courage to report safety problems saved hundreds if not thousands of lives in case a disaster had happened.
