  1. America is living breathing capitalism. It shouldn't be a shock that churches in the US are billion-dollar enterprises fueled by loyal consumers...believers. it's fascinating to behold. Fun fact religion is a thing in the DPRK. Our constitution allows the free exercise of religion as long as it doesn't harm our social order. Twelve percent of the country follows Chondoism (a Korean pantheistic religion), but two percent follows Christianity. Our capital Pyongyang was once known as the Jerusalem of the East because of how Protestant it was. But that changed when the Japanese occupied the peninsula in 1905 and forced Shinto beliefs onto the people.

Similar to our Juche idea which is also about struggle, helping the community, and never giving up despite the challenges. Lose your sense, and you lose that connection to yourself.
