  1. the other day at my local swimming pool which has a deep end there was this child playing to try to touch the bottom. The way he was coming in and out of the water looked like drowning. I knew that he might be trying to touch the bottom , for some reason many kids like to do that, but i went to him and asked if he was ok. Both lifeguards were not even looking at him and he was quite a small child, maybe 7 years old.

  2. I've had cramps in water deep enough to not touch the bottom and I floated on my back. I dont think he was just tired or it was just cramps, I think he was having some medical episode. My opinion anyways.

  3. that has been happening to a good number of young people lately. I do believe he had some kind of medical episode. Tireness or cramps could be dealt with by floating on his back. I dont think he would be drowning like this. My opinion anyways.

  4.  @dordenor  not always, you got plenty of videos on youtube of people drowning in beaches around Sydney and they were screaming.
