yeah I can see how that'd be a good reason for a child to hate a parent. If that really happened, he was only 11.... and right after his father's death. I dont see why he'd made that up, considering he had already confessed to everything. But who knows.

if the rape was real, that'd totally explain everything.

if the rape episode is real, and no one believed him, I can see how he'd hold a grudge. Of course, I am not saying he did the right thing. But .... let's imagine the rape happened for real, he was only 11.. .... and right after his father's death.... I am surprised barely anybody is even talking about this in the comments.

But also, as some other users are pointing out, the raper was probably his brother because there wasnt any other man living in his house to be there on a regular basis. That'd totally explain why this young boy wanted to kill both of them (and I am not saying that was a good solution at all but if all that really happened, he'd feel totally trapped in that house living with those people , being just a teenager and not being able to escape and live independently)

It even makes more sense if the raper was the brother.

My intuition is that the rape happened for real and it was the brother. It explains it all.

@TomboyGirlfriend many things can happen in a family that people dont know of. I talk from experience. He could have been abused all his life for what we know.

well, supposedly, if he wasnt lying, he was raped and his mother did nothing about it. I am not saying I agree with what he did, but I can see how, if that was true, he'd hold a grudge.

Agree. and it even makes more sense if the aggressor was the brother. Because the brother was the only male living in that house so who else could be the aggressor, the way zach explained it to have happened? and to me at least the brother was not behaving in a normal manner at all in the interview. He was also lacking emotion, it's like he didnt care at all.

@user-nw1wc1jo4l I am happy you had good parents. I know you did, because you seem unable to imagine situations that would traumatize a child and make him hold a grudge against a parent and you consider idiot anybody who wants to look into a case to make sure things are what they look like.

if the r**e event was real and his mother didnt believe him or even try to look into it at all, I can imagine any child holding a grudge over that. I think I could hate a parent for that. I wouldnt do what he did, obviously , but I wouldnt be exactly happy. This being said, who knows if that really happened.

well, that is an assumption.

@bentonrp well, I mean... there are cases in which murder is actually justified and considered self-defense. Like a kidnapped person killing his kidnapper to escape. It's not always how it looks like. I know this very well from having a mother who treated me horribly and on top of that told everybody how bad I was when she was the bad one. People dont know how much I had to withstand until I turned 18 and was able to work and leave that house. Anyways, this is an old case and if nothing else has come out of this then I guess he is the only person to blame; but I dont like your statement because things have to be looked into properly.
