  1. my mother mistreated me when i was a child and she had not been mistreated. You dont need to have experienced something yourself to do it to someone else. She could have just watched something on TV or heard something somewhere and decide to "try it". Also, being a victim of rape or abuse should encourage you NOT to become a raper or an abuser, because it makes you want to be as different as possible from that abuser. I dont see how a person that has suffered something like that would want to produce the same pain to someone else, unless is mentally ill.
