  1. one thing is to rescue a bear cub and raise it since then. There are people who have lived with bears for over 20 years and never, ever , been attacked. But this guy had not raise these bears, they didnt think of him as family, and they were interacting in the wild where the bears may have been hungry, so... very different scenario.
