it all comes down to stress-free life and proper nutrition. Nothing else. Most of these centenarians have done only farming related physical activity, not any kind of heavy workout. People who think that, if they run for one hour everyday, they will live longer are wrong. When you put stress on your heart you will eventually damage it.

yes but Japanese people generally do exercise such as stretching, yoga... they almost dont do "cardio" exercise, and this is a factor as well. it's good to be active, but not to make your heart race all the time. People who run for one hour everyday will not live that long, they are eventually damaging their hearts. Moderate workout, not much stress and proper nutrition are the keys.
