yeah but what I see in the video is a backpack and backpacks usually go under the seats, not on the overhead. So it's not that easy to control. Especially on low cost airlines, backpacks usually dont go on the overhead.

well if you have any proof of that. In the videos I only see a guy with a backpack, which is wrong, of course, but backpacks are usually under the seat and not on the overhead (especially in low cost airlines...) so i dont think that was a big factor. I think there wasnt enough time for everyone to get off as fire spred too quickly. Guessing of course because I was not there to see it.

well, there was no fire until it landed, but sure, they should have been there in case. Moscow does not seem to be a very good airport. I was there once and I promised I would never be there again.

@tanyakrotowa OK I didn't express myself correctly but.... do you really need to tell me that Moscow is not an airport? it was obviously a mistake. I could also tell you that the word you are using does not exist, "airoport", but I dont do it because I understand that it was a typo.

@Thornspyre81 should be more than enough time. There have been other cases in which the emergency vehicles have arrived in less than 5 minutes. I guess they underestimated the seriousness of the emergency.
